Spankings in mainstream media have lately been missing. It is not PC to show any type of spanking at all. This topic used to be OK even by Uncle Walt’s standard. I have commented on the various implements and manner of dress appropriate to this adult activity.

I am not a big sports fan, I would rather settle in with a good book than watch sports. There was a trend I found out that included paddling and paddle matches in wrestling. Watching two women struggling to get a paddle from a high pole, the winner getting to use that paddle on the loser, now that’s entertainment. I found this short segment on my hard drive, it is not a paddle match but a male wrestler punishing a female one. The spanking is very brief, but I really admire the smooth transition from dip to over the knee that this male wrestler achieves. I don’t know either athlete and the clip is pretty old.

My sister suggested that I read David Sedaris, a humorist whose work I have really enjoyed and heartily recommend. He is also gay. I brought this up because I think I have been into spanking since I was a boy. I don’t remember my parents punishing me in this fashion, except for one memorable beating. So either I was born this way or what the child development people have been saying for decades is true, we are products of what we watch. I find this incredibly short sighted and no more convincing than the argument that horror comics of the fifties produced juvenile delinquents. That only this single behavior was affected and no others, at least in my case, may weaken this argument.

The earliest memory I have is of a movie. I think it was Night of the Hunter, Lillian Gish is bathing a young boy, he runs off and she catches him. She then spanks him bottom for him. It really tickled something in me. After that I was more aware of such scenes in cartoons, TV shows and movies. The spanking did not have to be shown. I remember watching I Spy with my dad and Kelly Robinson is ordered to spank the errant young woman on the show, my father commented on it at the time, I think he may have noticed my reaction. Wilma and Betty got paddled on the Flintstones, the first animated prime time show. I found the entire episode on a website and have edited the relevant sections. I found the aftermath to be as entertaining as the initiation. There are many other examples.

I am not talking about shaving but for the record I use an electric razor as do most men. It has been well documented that wetting the skin makes a spanking much more intense. Using the same implement, and with the same force a swat will sting a whole lot more.

I believe even wetting undergarments will also yield similar results. This has certainly made the phrase “slap on a little after shave” have a completely different meaning for me.

Although I have read quite a few articles on the subject and can personally attest to the effect, no one has offered an explanation. I think I can explain it.

Using billiards for an example, you chalk the tip of the cue to get a clean strike on the ball. In other words the cue does not adhere to the ball allowing for more advanced techniques. Talcum powder on the hands also enables the cue to slide easily through the fingers.

How does this apply in paddling?  When the paddle strikes a dry butt, the paddle bounces off the target. Some of the impact is reflected and only some absorbed. When the skin is damp or wet the paddle sticks, and most of the force of the blow is absorbed. I think the sticking also explains why it stings so much more.

Now if the intention is to reduce the intensity of the spanking, a little scented powder can be applied to the skin. This can be a pleasant addition and prolong the anticipation and the spanking. To be completely honest I will use any excuse to rub a bare bum.

Imagining a sound spanking and receiving one can be very different things. In your head you can experience all the pleasant potential without any of the pain. Is it better to give than it is to receive? Where spanking is concerned I just can’t decide.

I believe the correct technical terminology is modified fireman’s carry. This is supposed to be the best way for one person to carry another. Aside from life threatening situations it looks like foreplay to me. I was watching this B movie called Man-Thing, The sheriff tosses Rachael Taylor over his shoulder, and she was just being arrested. I was not sure that I had most of the toy box. It took months to move everything from California to Arizona. I moved all the stuff we had accumulated over the years, I was being thrifty or cheap if prefer. It is only 300 miles how hard can it be. I never want to move again. 

There has been some discussion about the relative merits of these implements. Some yield a greater impact than others. Personally I feel that any toy can be used to excess. Size, length, weight, and area of impact all play a part in how much pain any toy will deliver. I do not have the traditional mothers cooking spoon, this implement concentrates all the force to essentially a small circle, all I can say is ouch!

The cane spreads the force over the length and width of the rod. When used improperly, not using the entire rod, the tip will cause the most damage. The impact zone is almost a point, leaves really radical marks. Most caning videos that I have seen seem to me to be too harsh, although I have viewed a few where the caning was either brief or done with care.

 

I lean towards paddles or paddle like toys. Big ones spread the force over a greater area making the spanking noisy but not as intense. The bath brush and the tried and true hairbrush have been personal favorites. It is not necessary to swing for the fences when using any paddle like implement, in fact for tender bottoms simply dropping the toy onto the intended target is plenty. The longer the toy the more force it will impact with. Early on in the spanking you can start with clothes on and gradually unveil. To me the first few spanks on bare skin are the harshest, and as the skin warms and reddens you can gradually increase the force to yield a nicely toasted bum.

 

When you start spanking with toys you may want to consider milder implements first. The leather hand looks formidable it is not really too fierce, and is advertised as a replacement for when your hand gets tired. A leather flogger with just a few strands used gently can be very stimulating. The long handled thing that looks like a bath brush is definitely gentle. The head is foam and it is used to apply lotion to those areas that are hard to reach.

I was unable to think of anything more discreet, but maybe being direct is better. This is a legal term, believe it or not, that covered sex acts even between husband and wife, considered unnatural. Any oral or anal sexuality was illegal and the penalties here in the US were extreme. These laws have largely been overturned but here and there they are still on the books. A news article about Illinois got me started and I can’t help but wonder if more laws like these will be passed considering the sexually repressed right.

It just seems to me a reasonable progression considering my attraction to bottoms that I would want to lick, tickle, and finger and yes; penetrate that tight little opening hidden within.
