First off I would it looks like I can not tell Ward from a Bill Wenzel or Kirk Stiles, I had thought I put only Ward illustrations in an upload folder and then just decided which I wanted to post. It was very nice of Web-Ed to point this out. The Chicago Spanking Review has a wealth of these illustrations and Web-Ed is very familiar with the work of these artists. I am going to give it another go this weekend.

I have been in quite a funk lately, really not interested in doing much of anything. I think its getting better but for now I am just hanging in there.

Its inevitable time waits for no one. I had hoped to age well, like a fine vintage wine instead of a batch of stinky cheese; to gradually change from my present cranky state to the mostly harmless curmudgeon. I would like to think there is plenty of time but no one knows what tomorrow will bring.

I was in California for a couple of weeks plying my trade and I came across some old seasons of rescue me on DVD. Definitely a better way to watch episodic television, a season at a time. I did watch this show originally but then lost it in the schedule. I like Dennis Leary and compared to his stage persona I just have a little colic. There were many instances where Callie Thorne’s character Sheila slaps or punches Tommy Gavin for what he says but in this clip she threatens to spank him like her son.

I was also surprised to find a series that I had never seen called saving grace. I am a big fan of both Holly Hunter and Laura San Giacomo and I got to see the entire series. Holly Hunter plays a tough independent detective Grace Hanadarko who works hard and plays even harder. I have selected a few short clips from the show. Grace and Ham.

I was seeing a woman, standard fare dinners, movies and sex. She was at my home one evening and I owned up that I really would love to spank her. She agreed and she laid her pretty self over my knee. I firmly believe that to be a complete spanker it’s important to be on the receiving end and fully experience what that feels like. Everyone does respond differently but being bent over the appropriate lap, bare buns up and ready for the firm application of hairbrush or paddle. Alternately for the tenderfoot butt nervously waiting for the first of many stinging slaps, perhaps with some small apprehension, to know what a sore behind feels like and the process of getting there. If you are going to spank someone you really have got to be spanked soundly to empathize with your partner.

I could be wrong being a greedy thing myself, needing to be stroked and poked and slapped in the right places. I personally enjoy a good hiding and have found that I am keyed up for a least a few days afterward, especially enjoying the lingering after effects. Taking all that into consideration I have found myself dragging my feet and reluctant to place myself in that vulnerable state anyway, besides I was always taught it was better to give than receive, much easier to spank than be spanked.

If I could grow a nice beard I probably would never shave. I have tried them all except a straight razor, hot lather, cold lather, safety razors with multiple blades and finally settling for the convenience of an electric razor. There is no reason for me to complain I really don’t have that much shaving to do. I know there is a lot of hair removal being done in the name of beauty shaving, waxing etc.

I have never been shaved by a barber although I have wondered about it. There was this time however I was in the shower with a friend and had the poor judgment to disparage her pink lady Schick. Since I did not have any idea what I was talking about she told me that I should put up or shut up. I did not want shaved legs, really knobby knees but I thought that the fuzz on my butt was pretty useless.

She lathered me up and proceeded to shave my fanny smooth. The procedure was painless and when she was done, we toweled off and admired her handiwork. I am not sure who started it but we both starting cracking up. She imagined me going down to the local barber for the hot towel treatment and a straight razor shave. I wondered if I had to worry about 5 o’clock shadow, or if I nicked myself shaving would I still use little squares of toilet paper to stop the bleeding. After we finally stopped laughing and wiped the tears from our eyes we spent the rest of the evening together. Best damn shave I ever got!

Well maybe not proud really but I have never been all that about being really organized. There are some that manage to keep all their stuff neatly labeled and gasp even alphabetically arranged. I am more of the type that keeps like things together. You are looking for such and such, check that pile over there. There are drawbacks to this system of course, I needed a single software installation cd to complete a project and could not find it. I looked through all the usual piles and no luck. I did find it eventually when I was looking for something else of course.

There are a lot of older directories of miscellaneous picture and drawings hidden on my PC, lots of old black and white photos from news groups. Every now and then I just browse through these files and come across stuff that I had completely forgotten about. I really did locate that illustration by the Spirit just that way. When I came across it I was pleasantly reminded of the cartoons that he had done over the years and I had to see if The Spirit Studio was still around.

Ok so there is little method to my madness but it sometimes works out well.
