Sometimes it really seems quite silly this fascination with all things spanking. Other times though, especially when I feel that special itch, it is the hottest most erotic thing I have ever experienced. Well it does seem to be one possible solution to the lack of a suitable spanking playmate. Seriously I was just doing that Google thing when I came across a site called AskMen it is an an online magazine. The article I found was called “An Introduction to Spanking”. The article made the bold claim that virtually every man has had the desire to spank his woman. It’s an opinion I happen to agree with, but I am biased.

It is a standard how to piece that may have been around a long time I just don’t remember having seen it before. As I read the first page of the article the tab address reads Spanking – AskMen makes sense. When I go to page 2 however the tab now reads How To Treat Behind – AskMen. Anyone that would tend to visit this site should know who I am talking about. If you don’t here she is from Playboy. She was one of the earliest Playmates of the Month Miss January 1955.

I usually post drawings or artwork on Sundays but the last couple of weeks have been extraordinary. While mulling over what has been going on I thought what I need is a pin-up and then it was all crystal. Betty Page is the iconic pin-up. Thanks to Irving Klaw we have photographs of Betty spanking, spanked and all tied up.

According to her obit her official website had received about 600 million hits over the five years prior to her death in 2008. I can not verify the number but even if it was just a fraction of that it still is incredible. Fifty years after her appearance in Playboy Betty Page could still be of interest to so many, I don’t think there is a word  to describe her phenomena. So here are a few of my favorite poses.

Don’t get me wrong here but I believe that the fellow in the clip is a genius. I was lucky enough to see him in Damn Yankees and he had the audience eating out of his hands. So absolutely no disrespect intended but I was goofing off this afternoon, I have a lot of time on my hands, and watching this old movie. “The Disorderly Orderly”, it is not one of the best movies but enjoyable enough.

Being a practicing spanko has never been easy for me. It was always much simpler to pretend that I did not have these desires and try hard just to fit in. Over the years there have been some bright points but for the most part any time I attempted to be more honest the results were usually disastrous.

My Bottom Smarts Sunday Brunch topic was so on point about this but I was very distracted this past weekend “Can you repress a fantasy? For example, if you decided that spanking was wrong and violent, could you move away from it and ignore it, or would this just lead to dissatisfaction?” In my opinion it is possible to suppress a fantasy, but for how long? Eventually things will be forced to the surface whether you want them to or not.

I was not indoctrinated, corrupted or unduly influenced by my parents or the media. Since my interest in spanking dates to my earliest memories I am practically certain that I am hard wired that way. It’s simply the most exciting thing I can think of and has been for a very long time.

What a wuss! There were ways to meet like minded people even then I was just too chicken shit to try. Amazing enough it was just a couple of days ago; it seems like weeks, that I got a new book via UPS. I love getting books shipped to me, ok I have been a little isolated lately, but things are really looking up for me. The book was “Late Bloomer” by Erica Scott.

I waited until after we had dinner and settled down to read. I had no idea just what I was in for. I did not want to stop but I read about half the book that night until I fell asleep. The next morning I started reading and completed the book that evening. It should not have taken this long to read but I was enjoying it so much I would stop every couple of chapters to savor the experience.

I finished the book disappointed that it was over and sat stunned for a bit. I wanted to contact her immediately. You are that Erica Scott! It’s really you! Don’t you realize who you are? … etc. I restrained my self and considered my options, for about 5 minutes. We had never actually met, but being a big fan of Shadow Lane and Eve Howard in particular I am pretty sure that I have seen and enjoyed her work. I just never put this together before.

I have already said that I love the book. I want to say that it’s a first but Erica has been an established author for years. This second published book, yes I do believe that “What Happens to Naughty Girls” counts as a published book, is so well crafted and well told that it should be a best seller.

Unfortunately I have no idea what it takes to make a book a best seller. I want to help if I can. Amazon accepted a review from me, my first, and I plan to also submit one to B&N. I think I may even buy a copy for my wife!  I am not sure how much I can really help, I haven’t been doing this for a year yet and you have so much more experience than I do.  Hold on what am I saying?
