I usually post drawings or artwork for Sunday funnies, however I was pleased to find that the vintage spanking photo on a card I received on my birthday was authentic and a true vintage scene from the 1930s. The photo shown below was from a few sets featuring spanking and spotted pajamas.

I was pleased to find that Ostra Studio originally produced the photo sets and they were ahead of their time. Not to be duplicated until Irving Klaw 20 years later. I thought I had the complete set of all the pictures but since I don’t have a definitive count I will post the ones I have found.

This one seems to be from the same set as the first one.

These are truly vintage gems. I am reasonably sure that I have others hidden in the dark corners of my computer. If I find the rest I will post them.

Let me be clear I don’t advocate forcing anyone to do anything they don’t want to do, it’s just that “Come here I am going to smack that ass.” loses something when phrased this way. “If you don’t mind I would like to spank your fanny please”. I have to admit there is a juvenile aspect of all spanking play but for the sake of argument lets agree that spanking is too good to share with kids and confine the discussion to the inner naughty child in all adults. Even if no spanking takes place I do enjoy a well crafted spanking threat.

Little Dot may look like a little girl but I do believe she was 30 at the time this strip was published.

I have had spanking fantasies since I was old enough to think about girls in any meaningful role and in all my fantasies not one of my spanking partners was injured in any way. I mean I have no pictures in my head of black eyes or bloody noses. There is no need for a trip to the emergency room or broken bones. It’s true that in my imagination a thorough bare bottom spanking with my hand or some implement results in nothing more than an uncomfortable seat, and is just extended foreplay. Leave it to Endart to have drawn almost every conceivable spanking situation, although this one rump seems almost overdone.

So in a consensual relationship after spanking your friend on whatever pretext what do you do about a butt too sore to lie on?

I think thats one solution although I have always been a fan of doggy style too.

THE NEW MILLENNIUM

This will be off topic no doubt and probably a rant. I have been considering how lucky I am to be alive at the advent of a new century. I have to report however that I am seriously disappointed with the twenty-first century so far.

There are no Pan Am commuter flights to a growing space station rotating in permanent orbit, and no settlements on the moon. There is a strong well meaning but ill informed movement that hopes to control the climate by changing only one element of the way we change our environment. These people are intent on turning back the clock to save the planet by unraveling our civilization. The brightest star of the past century was cheap energy and freedom of movement that these environmental fanatics are trying to eliminate. I really thought that by now fusion energy would be a growing concern with vast amounts of energy available to improve the lot of all people.

Social issues that I though were finally about to be resolved are now being argued again. Too many people in America scream about their freedoms while denying those same liberties to others. Censorship is alive and well and I was just reading that Mark Zuckerberg will forgo salary from his company to eliminate his tax bill altogether. The man should be ashamed of himself and it may be time to kill off Facebook altogether.

The list of ridiculous things is just too long and too depressing but I do have one other thing. Can anyone tell me just where the heck is my flying car?

Those Magnificent Men

and their spanking machines. I guess its too much to ask for a song but I may just have to borrow a tune from a mediocre movie. It’s tough enough these days to make a living and take care of business, after a hard day at the mine/mill/office/field or whatever, to come home and have to deal with a misbehaving brat. In the name of modern conveniences I would probably call these daddy’s little helpers.

One of the most intriguing ideas to me is requiring the spankee to provide the energy to spin the paddles that are whacking her bottom. This example from Endart seems to fit that description.

Here is another example from Sassy Bottoms, this drawing may be hard to find I know it has eluded me since I did a post devoted to Sassy.

I would like to add that I have found a short video on you tube about a couple of women on an automatic paddling device for an old black and white TV show. This was some sort of competition that had these two women turning cranks with their arms and they were lying down and bottoms up with spring loaded wooden paddles set to whack them. I am not sure but it if I remember correctly the paddle whacks were directly related to the speed of their cranking. I can not post a link since I found this video searching for spanking material, in strictly academic research of course, I have not been able to find it again. Maybe I only imagined it.

On The Beach

Interesting movie based on a book about the end of humanity caused by nuclear war. The Department of Defense declined to participate in this film because it showed the possible negative outcome of nuclear war. Makes me think of Dr. Strangelove, if you have a doomsday device keeping it a secret is a very bad idea. There are a couple of one smackers here and I have uploaded the following.

I think the above needs little clarification but I did enjoy the sound effect added to the swat.

This scene take place earlier in the movie but I can appreciate a nicely turned out bum. Anthony Perkins claims that his wife is just starting to get her figure back after having a baby, really just starting, looks just fine to me. This movie was released in 1959.

Two years later Mary Tyler Moore was selected to play Dick Van Dyke’s husband in the classic sitcom. Oddly enough MTM was supposed to be attired much like June Cleaver, doing household chores in heels and dresses. I remember an interview with Carl Reiner where he related the networks chagrin about the possibility of showing MTM’s nice bum. They were certain that the TV public would object to a nicely curved behind. I have even seen a blog post devoted to MTM’s ass.

BUMS

I’m not talking about the homeless, or that baseball team originally from Brooklyn. What I mean is that lovely part of the human anatomy that starts at the very top of the thighs to the small of the back. Buttocks, buns, derriere, fanny, gluteus minimus, medius and maximus, backside, behind, posterior, rear, rump, seat, or my favorite, bottom.

No matter what you call them I just love them. Don’t get me wrong the rest of the body is amazing. If you have spent any time admiring sculpture, the female form is one of the only reasons that I might believe there is a God, and he is a dirty old man. Despite all that I am drawn to a tightly turned tuchas.

I think that my absolute favorite moment in Star Trek (yeah I am one of those) occurred in the short lived Enterprise. Trip and Malcolm were stranded in a shuttle and drinking. Malcolm says that T’pol has a nice bum and they toast to it.

I recently came across this snapshot that captures a pretty fanny in a domestic setting that really got to me. There is something about this particular photo that really appeals to me on many levels.

Years ago there was a magazine called Avant-Garde. One issue had a incredible series of pictures taken in extremely public places. The model the used was very attractive and she had developed this technique. She could sweep up her skirt and bend over, the result was all that all you could see was a very pretty butt and a nice pair of legs, that was all. The photographer took quite a few of these pictures and the results were stunning. Avant-Garde indeed, as you may have guessed this particular magazine had a tremendous impact on me, I blame it completely! I was young and impressionable

I remember the first time I saw drawings by Dave Ell, while searching for my favorite topic on u-tube one of the results was schoolgirl spankings by Dave. There were a couple of slide shows of Dave’s spanking art, I thought the use of this streaming video outlet to promote his art was original and quite clever.

I liked this drawing but could not help but wonder about the entire picture. Dave was kind enough to send it to me.

When I saw catapult in the title I saw pictures in my head of castles under siege, with trebuchets and battering rams. I suppose I have been too hooked into Game of Thrones.

Year One

It has been a most interesting year; amazingly enough I have been blogging here for one year. It is time to focus on the positive.

Here is a classic from a pajama shoot.

There have been over 300K page views for the year that may not be much for any blog but I don’t care, it feels alright to me. I have been listed in Chross spankings of the week at least once a month, boosting my overall total of course, and fulfilling my need for attention. I submitted a short piece on “The Hairbrush” for WellRed Weekly that can be found here WellRed Weekly, even more exciting than that for me, Erica Scott author of “Late Bloomer” and her blog Life, Love & Spanking and Hermione whose site Hermione’s Heart always has something interesting on it also have articles in the same issue, very good company that.

Nik Zula brought this Star Trek moment to life for me.

There were a lot of new friends made and it has been exciting trading comments and emails with like minded people. The last post from this week was the third page of my old blogger site and it is still popular today.

One other thing Shawnee Smith. I really liked her character from Becker and I have to admit part of the attraction to watch that show was what outfit she might wear that week. Linda is sleeping in the office and its a scene from the three bears. One exam table was too soft, the other too hard and Becker’s office chair just right. “okay here’s the thing” check out what she chooses to sleep in.

Maybe the best outfit of the first season.

Illustrations, Artwork, Comics and Cartoons

I don’t know what it is about spanking scenarios drawn from the imagination of various artists, but sometimes I find them more satisfying than photographs or movies. The outrageous Hentei of Kami Tora which you can find all over the Internet (check out the cherry report for an interview), or the older works of Eric Stanton. When I first logged on to BBS years ago I was excited by crude rendering like these.

Crude yes but in those days you logged on through a service and paid for the privilege by the hour. I have to mention print magazines like Penthouse. Here is a scene that I don’t see very often that I like.

Internet fans will remember EndArt who has retired but whose artwork is outstanding. A sample from my computer.

There are so many Banjo, Whizzer Black, The Spirit, and others too numerous to list. One last by JayEm.

JPC – Jean-Philippe Cors

I never heard of this artist until recently. An interview on the Cherry Red Report and article in Wellred Weekly caught my eye as well as the artwork. I find the subjects in these drawings to be cute and curvy, they seem to strike me as classical too. The following site has samples dating from 1997 through 2006, there is also a blog with color drawings. I think that these should have a broad appeal and need to get greater exposure.

If you like these you should visit JPC World. I think that you will enjoy what you find there.
